Wilbur didn't sign up for this, and he wanted to make that abundantly clear.
When Phil first approached him and asked for assistance around the café, Wilbur felt that, as Phil's loyal step-son, he was obligated to help - with pay of course. He thought it'd be just like any other customer service job - take orders, put up with annoying customers, complain about said customers when their backs were turned - but no. Instead he was stuck babysitting a fucking gremlin child with an absolute lack of common sense.
But alas, student loans were a killer, and Wilbur had to keep this job if he wanted to eat next month. Unfortunately, that also meant that he had to put up with Tommy's shit for four hours everyday. But it was fine. Wilbur was fine. He could deal with Tommy's constant pestering and his total disregard for personal space, even though Wilbur told him like fifty times to get out of his face- it was fine.
But he swears if he has to clean up one more of Tommy's messes, he was going to strangle that child.
