Summary
Izuku Midoriya always dreamed of becoming a superhero. Of fighting supervillains and saving people with a superpower to call his own. Except, the world he was born into was one devoid of superpowers. The Japan he lived in was not one of capes, masks and catchprases, but one of post-war chaos, collapsing economy and police struggling to maintain even vestiges of control over the cities in the wake of a raise in criminal activity and collapse in funding.
It was a dream that couldn't come to fruition. A dream born of escapism, desire to help others and a weak health that together with Bakugou Katsuki killed all of his potentially achievable dreams. Something that Izuku himself was aware of. It was a fantasy that made the world a bit more bearable as days, months and years passed in a blurry. Nothing more.
Everything changed when Izuku Midoriya awoke a genuine superpower. Dawn of Quirks has began, and with it, the age of supervillains and superheroes. As the society around him slowly collapses, Izuku will do his best to save as many people as he can. Despite the world of superheroes being way more complicated, dangerous and painful than he ever imagined.

Summary
Izuku is a vigilante, and frankly it's the only good thing in his life. Or at the very least, it's brought about all of the good things. He loves nothing more than patrolling under the stars with Eraserhead at his side and Tsukauchi a phone call away.So even though his civilian life might finally be amounting to something, now that he's getting into UA with a chance of becoming an actually-Licensed hero, he can't give his vigilantism up.
Equally, Aizawa isn't giving up on his Kidilante. The kid's been his for three years already, there's no way that those half-completed adoption papers in his desk drawer are going to go to waste. If only he had time to breathe beyond keeping his Kidilante safe, alongside his new class who are apparently villain magnets. It's going to be a long year.
(Written to fulfil every part of my pathetic little soul that just had to write ''angsty! but kind! little shit! Izuku who's an insomniac Quirkless vigilante that Aizawa is 100% going to adopt if only he could figure out his real identity but he refuses to force it out of him now because it took him years to earn that trust dammit and he'll wait longer if that's what it takes'' idea, but mine.)

“What is?” Hitoshi asks goadingly, raising a brow in his direction.
“This!” Bakugou gestures to the movie playing. “This whole fuckin’ scene. A couple fucking in front of someone else. With someone else. People don’t fuckin’ do this shit- they don’t just--”
“...We do.” Hitoshi finishes coolly, his voice a gentle purr through the now-stagnant air.
“...No. Fuck that.” Bakugou bites out. “You two talk a big game, but I’m calling bullshit. When the time came, you wouldn’t do it. Not like that.”
Hitoshi blinks at him.
“You wanna bet-?”

Izuku's head-ghosts were… hot. Objectively, actually, seriously hot. The first time the Second gave Katsuki a command, he bit his lip to not moan like a little bitch. Then he flipped him off and didn’t listen to a word of his shitty ghost advice, but the damage was already done.
You fucked them, Deku?
Izuku likes being used in his sleep. IchiNi show Katsuki how it’s done, and win him over in the process.
