Summary
Saerenna Velaryon is the only legitimate child born from Ser Laenor Velaryon and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. From the moment she was born, she was hailed as a girl 'with the heart of a king.' Her life is shaped by expectations and perfection and is cumbersome. With a contentious relationship with her brothers, a respect for her mother that is shrouded with constant disappointment, and a childhood clouded with tragedy, Saerenna only finds solace in her uncle, Prince Aemond Targaryen, and her dragon, Saegael. Both of whom she shares a deep bond with.
As the Dance of Dragons mounts with growing tension, Saerenna and Aemond find themselves in a tentative dance between their happiness and loyalties.
