Summary
Marcellus is a human omega, and technically speaking, human omegas aren't supposed to exist. So, when Marcellus ends up being allowed on an off-planet mission, he knows that he needs to keep his identity a secret and rescue his captive comrades while maintaining his reputation as a capable medic.
