Summary
If Roy was hoping that taking Edward out for drinks would help him wind down after their first joint mission in a while, then he was sorely mistaken; somehow, miraculously, Ed manages to look even twitchier in the middle of a club with a drink in his hand than he does in the middle of a firefight with a gun. He barely glances up when Roy flops back down into his seat with his own newly refilled drink and sweat on his brow from dancing, instead just going back to scanning the crowds as if expecting someone to throw a warp out or something.
Well. If Elric won’t have fun on his own, Roy will just have to make him have fun.
Or, after their first joint mission in a while, Spectres Elric and Mustang finally fall into bed together after years of sneaking glances through the corners of their eyes. Roy hasn't acted upon his desires out of fear of ruining their working relationship, since they are quite good combat partners when they do share missions. But maybe he's put a little too much thought into how he thinks Ed's feelings might change after sleeping together, and not enough thought about his own.

“I want to talk to you, Edward,” he whispers. “We need to talk.”
“Fine,” Ed says, flat with frustration and disappointment. He kinda was looking forward to getting kissed again. “I don’t think you’re really listening to what I’m saying, though. We’re married, and I’m stuck with you, and if I’m going to be stuck with you I’d at least like to have some fun sometimes where I can get it. I liked having sex with you. I’d like to do it again, at some point. Preferably soon. I’ve got a lot of lonely heats to make up for.”
Still staring at their abandoned breakfast, Roy asks softly, “And what happens when you get pregnant?”
Even with his eyes averted, Ed feels like he’s been slapped. Suddenly Roy’s looming over him is a lot less hot and a lot more threatening.
Or, the one where Ed insures that, even if he's been married off against his will, at least he has control over something in his life and secretly takes contraceptives. After an explosive but cathartic argument, he begins to settle into his marriage with Roy and realizes he has a partner instead of an opponent; and, from there, comes to a decision about pregnancy all on his own.

Summary
Ed turns back to the house, still standing in the snow-covered street. Flakes of white eddy around him in flurries. Beneath the streetlamp he glows like an angel.
In this moment, standing in his open doorway and watching his mate experience snow for the first time, Roy wonders if he’ll ever feel this happy and content again.
“Come out!” Ed shouts, heedless of their neighbors. “Come out with me, Roy!”
Roy knows how this will end: it’ll be cute for a minute, and then Ed will push him into the snow and probably shove some down the back of his jacket. Roy will retaliate, obviously, by introducing Ed to the concept of a snowball fight via snowball to the face. Ed will shriek and tackle him, they’ll roll around until they’re both soaked and shivering, and in half an hour they’ll be sitting naked in front of the fire again in a much, much less enjoyable way than they did before. And probably tomorrow the neighbors will complain about the noise.
Even knowing that, Roy calls out with another laugh, “Let me get my coat.”
Or, the one where desert-raised Edward experiences Amestrian seasons for the first time. Roy occasionally pokes fun at his expense.

The second thing that Roy Mustang ever says to his future husband is a rough and almost pleading, “How old are you?”
Edward answers instantly, cutting off his father’s opportunity to speak over him, no doubt seeking some small measure of control in a life quickly careening out of it. “Fifteen. You?”
“Twenty nine,” Roy says, voice thin. Literally almost twice his age. God. God.
“God,” Ed apparently agrees, a look of horror crossing his face. “You’re almost thirty? That’s so old. Ew.” He looks up at his father in disgust. “Be fucking serious.” Hohenheim looks pained at the outburst, but unsurprised.
Roy is abruptly quite convinced that one of them will be murdering the other within the month.
Or, the one where Roy meets his husband, actually marries the little shit three years later, and then three years after that contemplates his surprise happily ever after.
