Clara hums melodically, “Red Strings of Fate~ ♫ Soulmates! ⋆｡♪ Lovers dancing under starry moonlight! ₊˚♬”
Iruma scrunched her eyebrows even further, “Soulmates?” Iruma questioned. Clara tilted her head in confusion, “You don’t know what soulmates are, Iruma-chi?” Clara asked in wonder.
“Clara, don’t be rude! Not everyone is in a rush to know their partner so early in life!” Asmodeus retorted.
Iruma, of course, knows about soulmates! He’d worked with an author before– this troupe is usually used in fiction– but for it to actually exist… He cannot believe it! Well… The more that Iruma thinks about it, the more clarity it dawns upon him: Demons are also considered myths, or in other terms, fiction in the human world! And here they are sitting next to him. So, why should he be surprised that soulmates exist?

Summary
When she said it was Nat who killed Sam Jud had heard her, but as a priest he knows full well that there is a difference between knowing and understanding. Between understanding and belief.
When the dust settles Jud is left with the realisation that he did not kill Sam, and the impact of three days of stress, sleeplesness, and guilt. Benoit Blanc supports him through it.

Summary
He’s reminded, suddenly, of Marta: guilty only of a damaged trellis and a few amateur theatrics. Blanc had known from the beginning that she thought she was guilty, but hadn’t assured her of her innocence until checkmate. He did the same to Jud last night. Would he do the same again if it meant solving a case and bringing a murderer down, or bringing a wronged person justice? He knows he would, but it is not an easy thought.
In the immidiate aftermath of Martha's confession Jud has a small breakdown. Blanc helps him through it. Written as a companion piece for "Matthew 6:34."
