Summary
Dwight Fairfield is tired of working miniscule jobs that get him nowhere. Applying to a job at Peak 22, Dwight seeks out better options and opportunities to pull him out of his typical mucky world. What he doesn't know is that opportunities don't come free, and they may not be the kind of opportunities he had in mind as the price he pays for his luxury grows dirtier than the world he tried so hard to escape.

It doesn't take long though for Dwight to be made aware of just how dire his situation becomes when the doctor begins treating him more like an experiment than a patient.

When the sound of a gunshot echoed through the alley Dwight was thinking about what he’d eat for dinner that night—pasta was the plan. His body moved before he could even realize what he had heard. He pressed himself against a wall, back scraping against bricks as he slid down, lower, crouching.
Someone just fired a gun. He thought. Someone is here.
He was right, but besides those thoughts, Dwight could think about very little. Someone was there. He had to run. Someone was there. He was going to die. Easy deductions.

Mammon let out a loud groan, staring down at the papers that laid scattered out on his desk, pen in one hand as he rested his chin in the other. His third hand’s fingers tapped against the wooden desk. Mammon’s eyes narrowed as he stared down at the paper he had on top of the pile of the others, sneering as he read the contract.
It was some stupid mother fucker asking for a part of his precious money in exchange for a piece of the ring, that he ruled over, so he could build another cheap attraction to squeeze as much money as possible from some idiot demons that most likely were tourists. Mammon felt anger swirl in his chest as he snarled, letting out a sour growl as his grip tightened around the pen, only seconds away from snapping it in half.
How dare these rotten creatures ask so much from him, he was Mammon for Satan’s sake, he was the embodiment of greed itself.
Mammon’s fists clinched up into balls as he let out an unpleasant growl, slamming the pen down onto the desk before snatching the paper up, harshly wading it up into a ball before flinging it into a nearby bin. He bared his teeth like a feral animal as a puff of green smoke fumed from his clenched fangs.
