One day he recieves a letter from someone, some organization “NotfromMoling” telling him to kill the tyrant horrible but beautiful emperor from Gusu Lan and Wei Ying agrees. What he doesn’t know is that this hot specimen of a man and emperor is also an infamous thief that is so hard to kill and apparently hard to deceive, so Wei Ying tries his best getting into the Cloud Recesses palace disguised as Mo Xuanyu the concubine elected to be for Lan Wangji. They begin the game of trying to unveil each others secret identities while they try to kill themselves but also fall obsessively and unhealthily for each other.
