Laudna is the daughter of the governor. An important woman to be. But she dreams of more, if only she had the chance. There's a whole world out there, waiting to be seen.

Something has gone horribly wrong in the circle. She checks her book again and frowns, looks over her notes and frowns. Gets distracted by the wheezing breath of the creature in the circle, and frowns.
At first, it paced lashing at the magic holding it, then it cackled. Now several hours later, bored, it is sitting sprawled in the circle watching her.
Its eyes are the thing that is hardest for her. Laudna has seen a lot of creatures through her time as a witch. She has summoned or dismissed a number of them herself. Many have even been from the hells, as she suspects this one is. This strange looking goat-creature is different.
