He frowns.
Caitlin jerks her chin at the tall, lone figure hiding in the corner.
(The man in question is gossiping with Lizzie, hidden in the shadows as they giggle over something insipid and likely cruel. A cigarette in hand, he looks dangerous and like a problem, the kind of man who shouldn’t be at this party, where the people are good and the food is even better. Seb doesn’t recognize him at first, has to squint to figure out who it is, but when it clicks –)
