Summary

In Brockton Bay a forgotten side character's trigger event ends with him linked to the Celestial Forge rather than his intended shard. His slowly expanding collection of tinker abilities and the influence of his new benefactor pulls him into the heart of the conflict about to rock the city and decide the fate of the world.

Summary
Charlie whistles loudly and lets out a damn, leaving Knox frozen in shock. He looks at him seductively and beckons Knox over with a finger. “C’mere beautiful.”
Knox’s entire body feels like it’s on fire and he looks around the restaurant to see a few curious eyes on him before he speeds over to his boyfriend. At that point, he’s not sure if he feels more embarrassed, angry, or turned on as he whispers out, “Have you lost your fucking mind?”
“O beauty, till now I never knew thee.”
In which Knox gets a job at a restaurant and Charlie is a menace to society.
