Summary
Ann Possible is a sensible, respectable woman with a successful career and family life. Even if her daughter is a globe-trotting spy and her sons are twin geniuses, she is a rock of stable calm who's never had reason to second-guess her decision to knuckle down on her studies and prioritize reliability over flashiness. Until, of course, her daughter reaches the age when Ann had made her choice for buttoned-down respectability and, after a chance, accidental moment of overhearing Kim in a... compromising situation with her boyfriend, Ann suddenly finds herself second-guessing some choices.
And making a few choices she definitely should have thought a little bit more about. But... it's hard to think things through when not thinking feels so good!
