Summary
The Spring family had always spent holidays a bit differently than most people. Instead of using the time for relaxation, they used it to yell, blame, and scold. More often than not, Charlie had always found himself isolated from everyone in his room, music on blast, and trying not to think about going back to school once the break was over or leaving the comfort of his bed to face Jane Spring, both prospects equally miserable.
And so, he has determined that this year, his mission is to let himself have fun at his new home, Pelican Town’s, festivals. To let his past self have the celebrations he deserved, even if he was a ‘boring adult now’ according to his younger brother, Oliver.
He figures he deserved to have a few days of celebration with Nick and their friends after a year of terrifying unknowns.
