Summary
This takes place after the disastrous dinner, in which instead of following the rats she gets manages to get the pieces of the vision again and while the rest of her family in a frenzy dealing with the Guzmáns she quickly packs a bag of things and escaped via her window. She runs away, not very sure where she was heading, but eventually, she ends up in another town and gets herself a few jobs with the skills she had learned to get her family's attention. Most of the things that happen in the movie, happens after she leaves just a bit more quickly. After the anger had simmered down, the Madrigal's realized Mirabel was missing and were determined to get her back, after a bit of introspection that is. And Casita? Casita was not pleased with any of the Madrigals, not even in the slightest.
