    Hot Rod Rodimus hated his new life.

    OK— that wasn't completely true. Hot Rod Rodimus loved the new habsuite, and it was new—all spacious and spec'd out for playing video games working late into the night. He refused to stay in Optimus' old living quarters the micro-second it was suggested, and it only hurt a little bit when no one protested.

    Hot Rod Rodimus also loved his new hero status. He was proud of himself for his accomplishments. Who else could say that they were responsible for the destruction of Unicron? He loved the way Daniel had looked up to him after they escaped Unicron. It reminded him of how he used to look up to Optimus, how he had always wanted to be a hero like him. That didn't mean he wanted to be him though.

    His hazy processor tried to scramble to find something else to love and…nope…he hated everything else so far. He didn't want this.

    Hot Rod never wanted any of this.
