The events of this Fanfiction take place during Episode 4 of Season 3, “Killer Within”. As Rick looks through the fences at Lori they both have flashbacks of their marriage before everything fell apart. This warm moment would be the last moment Rick will share with his wife. Many miles away in Mississippi, Shane, Austin, and Phillip raid an abandoned Police station. While discussing Lori, Shane finally understands his relationship with Lori. But as soon as one door closes, a new one opens.
