It’s not like Bruce and Dick have actually discussed it much. They speak maybe once a month through texts with lots of thumbs-up emojis, and Bruce hasn’t learned how to text without using ellipses, which 1) shows his age and is 2) incredibly menacing.

Jason smiles up at him hopefully. For a second, the tiniest dimples create crescents in his soft cheeks. Bruce doesn’t have those. Dick does, though. It kind of makes Dick sick when he looks at Jason like that, all big green eyes—nothing like the blue in Bruce or Dick’s—and undeniable youth.
