Ten years later, Amy has taken on the role of Sonic, exploring the mysteries of the world and still having some hope she can bring Sonic home.
Cream who might even at this point be smarter than Tails and an expert inventor helps Amy out in her missions, beliving as well that there is hope the past hereos are still out there.
And then she finds Metal Sonic, left decaying in an abadoned eggbase and it seems he is trying desperatly to protect something precious.
