Summary
Il Dottore appears in a world where “heroes” are a social pillar and quirks are something people are born with.
He, in particular, never believed in heroes or villains, only in poorly designed systems and in how easily human ambition drives them to collapse.
Forced to exist in a world that idolizes heroism, he doesn’t try to adapt or seek redemption. He studies its rules, finds its flaws, and begins to intervene as someone who doesn’t see people, but pieces. His actions don’t go unnoticed, and when the right villains set their sights on him, the balance starts to shift.
The line between villains and saviors becomes irrelevant, and the real problem stops being who is fighting… and becomes who is controlling the board.

Summary
The ‘power’ of ‘friendship’?
An unsubstantiated variable.After obtaining the power of the three moons and ascending to literal godhood, Dottore refuses to accept 'defeat' at the hands of something so absurdly mundane.
If friendship is truly that powerful, then it can be replicated. Studied. Weaponized.
For this novel experiment, he decides to acquire a new friend himself. Strictly for research purposes.
Dottore selects a subject of particular interest: Kaveh, a highly intelligent architect whose tendency toward ill-advised compassion and professional expertise make him both accessible and potentially useful.
Dottore intends to quantify this so-called power of friendship and determine its practical applications.…Results may vary.

“Of course it had to be a desert. Why do we always end up in a desert?!” Jay paces through the sand in a panic before gesturing wildly at the sky. Then he dramatically drops to his knees while putting his head in his hands. “WHY?!”
“Get a hold of yourself, Jay. Jeez.” Cole grumbles while dusting sand off of his gi. “It's not the end of the world."
Within seconds, as though the very sun has been extinguished, everything around them goes dark. Probably a cloud passing in front of the sun.
“Look what you did, COLE! YOU JINXED US!” Jay yells and gets up from his position on the ground to poke a finger in the earth ninja's chest. Cole slaps his hand away, simultaneously rolling his eyes while beginning to groan, “Oh for fuck's sake. We're not jinxed, Jay, it's probably just a clou-”
Then he looks up at the sky, and goes dead silent.
Zane follows his lead, and he too freezes in place, eyes widening in.. fear?
This prompts Kai to turn his eyes to the sky, and a chill runs down his spine.
That's…
That's not a cloud.
