“Mmm, best burger I’ve ever had,” Kate moaned euphorically, her mouth full, with beef juice, ketchup, mustard, relish, and tomato juice trickling from the corners of her mouth.
Yelena stared, mildly amused. (It would have been disbelief, but she was used to Kate’s antics by now.) “You said that about the last one.”
“Yeah, but that was before I had the Yelena Belova double cheeseburger,” the archer countered. “Twice the meat, twice the cheese…twice as good, Yel…. Seriously, you should try it,” she continued, extending her hand with a half-eaten double-decker burger.
“If I had wanted an obscene amount of meat in a single sandwich, I would have made one myself.”
