Summary
What would have happened if the WoL had been a shard of another soul? What if they had been a shard of Hythlodaeus instead? Emet-Selch had his entire plan laid out, but all of that is turned on its head when a distressingly familiar hero turns themself in to Garlean forces after the assault on Rhalgr's Reach. They want to bargain...and nothing will be the same afterwards.
Basically, this is a canon divergent story of how things could have gone had WoL been Hythlodaeus and taken a somewhat different path. Takes place beginning portion of Stormblood and continues from there so there will be potential spoilers all the way through, and significant canon events may go completely differently.

Summary
Five years after the Calamity and ten years after he first left Ul'dah, Lysander Morgensonne returns to his old home to pay his respects, as he does every year. This time, however, he gets caught up in events that will eventually change not only the course of the world, but everything he knew about himself. He has never tried to be a hero, or thinks he ever could be, but when the Scions of the Seventh Dawn learn that he has recently gained the Echo they ask for his help, and how could he not? It's the right thing to do. It is strange, though...he can't remember the last few years for some reason...
This story has gods-damn near everything: adventure, action, fluff, romance, smut, comedy, drama, and a bunch of other stuff that I promise is really interesting. Also, I am playing fast and loose with MSQ, because while I do intend to follow the game's story and expand on it, I have NO intention of writing about silly-buggers fetch-quests just to go do [insert objective here]. Neither I nor Lysander have the patience for that. :3
