Summary
When President Coin survives Katniss’ assassination attempt, only a threadbare rebellion remains to resist the new regime. Rumors whisper that Snow escaped his execution, and so Katniss Everdeen is tasked with finding and recruiting him to bring down Coin. With Snow as her prisoner, Katniss and the former President must trek across the wilds of Appalachia to the rebel base. Surviving together in the wilderness, the two develop an unlikely bond as Katniss comes to know Snow’s humanity and strange care for her.
