Summary
For over six months, after Hawkins and the Upside Down merge, Steve Harrington is plagued by nightmares. Vines choking him, Eddie dying, and a host of other nighttime horrors. It all changes one night in October 1986 when, instead of the Creel House or the trailer park, Steve dreams about a warm spring day at Skull Rock featuring one very familiar metalhead.
Sure, his subconscious' version of Eddie Munson makes some weird comments about being alive in the Upside Down sometimes, but that's just his brain's way of coping with Eddie's death ... Right?

Summary
A retelling of Stranger Things starting from season one and going through season four.
Ten was eleven years old when he ran away from the lab. He had been left for dead after a massacre. Found by Wayne Munson, he disguised himself as Wayne's nephew and grew up to be a loud and proud nerdy metalhead. All that changed when he ran into a sister he thought had died in the lab the same night he escaped. Even when he thought he had all that handled, his precognitive talents tell him that he and everyone he knows is in for a lot more trouble over the next few years.
Together with a handful of adults, a lunch table of the most unlikely teen friends, and more kids than anyone should have to babysit, Eddie's going to change the future for the better and fall in love along the way.
