Kuya knelt between Quincy’s spread legs and leaned in, planting a hand on the wall to crowd Quincy up against it. “Aren’t I here?”
Quincy inhaled shakily, his fists clenched so hard they trembled.
“Oya, any harder and you’ll bleed,” Kuya smirked, voice low. He could almost taste the essence in the mere mist of Quincy’s breath. “Do you hate it that much? The loss of your precious self-control, that tiny bit of your humanity left.”

“Out with it.” Malleus’ voice is curt.
“Right, right.” Kalim exhales, crossing his arms. “Silver fell asleep during Professor Trein’s class today. Except…” He bites his lips. “He… didn’t wake up.”
And Lilia’s blood runs cold.
When Silver falls under an ancient sleep curse, unable to awaken, Lilia resolves to wake him up, no matter the cost.
