"It's rare but sometimes they are both lucky to end their jobs at a decent hour so then one of them either brings home dinner or groceries to cook dinner from.
Usually Atsushi has to do that unless Akutagawa is home earlier to shower and change out of their work clothes. Once the dinner is brought home they eat it sometimes in front of the tv, sometimes they sit in the quiet or turn on the radio and make a soft conversation. If it's groceries that are brought home they cook. Or Akutagawa is usually just directing Atsushi so he learns how to do it himself. The orphanage didn't exactly give cooking lessons. They bicker and throw playful insults while cooking but in the end the meal always tastes good and Atsushi knows another new recipe. "please read the author's note, ty!

Seeing For the Tainted Sorrow in action was thrilling, it felt like your blood was singing at the raw display of power, the control with which Chuuya manipulated the gravity never ceased to amaze no matter how many times you worked with him on the same field or sometimes regrettably watched from the sidelines for whatever reason.
