Summary
Natalie cracks open a bottle of sparkling Moscato with an audible pop! and remarks, “Just look at the muscles in those forearms. He could hold you up against a wall, no question.”
Roy, who has never once looked at Jamie Tartt’s arms with anything other than detached professionalism, and really only during the rare instances when he was on spotting duty at the weight bench, downs an entire glass of wine and resigns himself to what amounts to psychological torture every Wednesday evening for the foreseeable future.
Roy reluctantly watches the entire season of Lust Conquers All.
Despite that, he doesn't really figure out how to deal with Jamie Tartt until months later.

Summary
Jamie's trying to be good, is the thing. A good man would go visit his dad in hospital, no matter how much he'd rather not, right? If it were Jamie himself who were ill or hurt, Dad probably wouldn't come all the way to London for him... but Jamie is better than him. This proves it.

Summary
Jamie doesn't know how to do this. No, Roy can't know what he's thinking unless he says it, but he doesn't know how to fucking say it, does he? There's a reason why he never has before. This was a bad idea to begin with. Shouldn't have said anything at all, should've just got on with it.
(Or, difficult conversations are neither Jamie's nor Roy's forte, but they're trying.)

Summary
Apophenia (/æpoʊˈfiːniə/)- the tendency to perceive patterns and connections between unrelated things.
In an effort to increase team spirit, Ted changes up the roommate assignments for away games, sticking Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent together in the hopes that they can put aside their differences. Doing so makes Roy contend with being a better captain and Jamie a better teammate. It also a shines a light on things that Jamie wants to stay hidden. Fortunately for him, Roy can’t let go of the feeling that something is wrong and when things get worse before they get better, Jamie has more than one person in his corner.
_________________In which loans aren’t terminated, James Tartt is the worst, Jamie is just trying his best but struggles with being pulled in two different directions, and Roy Kent proves that he is ride or die even for pricks he definitely doesn't even like.
