I swear the prologue isn’t a proper show of quality.
Nine-thousand years ago, the 9 greater heavenly stratum’s were saved from destruction at the hands of the cup of fate. Now in the hands of the heavens, an era of cultivation prosperity arose. With the Cup running dry, the last droplet blessed one average infant from a young mortal world with a gift the likes of which have never been seen before.
Years later, a young girl with eyes of gold is left disillusioned with life believes her fate to be that of an average person, born to die without leaving so much as the tiniest mark on the world around her. That is, until she lays her eyes on a strange woman wielding a sword in the forest.

Summary

Taylor Hebert did not expect to wake up with superpowers or a woman who stares at her as if she is the second coming of the apocalypse. Still, Murata seems to be relentlessly determined to be a part of her life now. She's not sure why, either.
