Summary
When news broke out that Captain America, previously thought to be Peggy Carter's soulmate's, bore no soulmark and therefore had no soulmate, everything changed for Steve. Everyone wanted to be the one to be Captain America's soulmate. But Steve Rogers didn't want any of it. He had resigned himself to the fact that having a partner just wasn't for him.
Then one special New Years Eve he meets a mysterious, striking dark haired man and Steve is more smitten than he's ready to admit.

Summary
In 1920s prohibition New York, two gangs rule over the city. One led by Bucky Barnes, the other by Tony Stark. Steve, Stark’s right hand man, finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Barnes decides to take him as a trophy. Kept prisoner in Barnes’s house/bed, Steve starts to realize there’s more to Bucky Barnes than meets the eye, and more to the bitter Stark and Barnes rivalry than anyone knows.

Steve finds out what Mr. Silent Treatment Barnes thinks of that later that evening at Tony’s pizza party. Bucky’s not there - of course - so Steve shoves pizza into his face and hangs around with Sam and Natasha, trying not to sulk. Somewhere around his eighth slice of pepperoni, his ass buzzes. He pulls his phone out of his pants pocket and opens the text.
