Princess Irulan flees her father's court in fear of her life and ends up hiding amongst the Atreides household on Caladan with the help of Lady Jessica. She is told to stay away from the Lady's son, heir to the Duchy. Someone should have told him to stay away from her though.

Summary
The raucous laughter and loud jeering in the barracks fades into muttered bemusement and then to bewildered silence. Gurney turns his head, follows everyone's gaze, and sees the young heir of House Atreides standing there at the foot of the stairs, his expression one of great relief. A few of the men begin to stand; the duke's son is the duke's son, even when he is all of seven years old and in his nightshirt.
Paul says, in a high-pitched but lofty imitation of Duke Leto's cadence, "At ease. I will just sit over there." He points to the corner and proceeds to scamper past them.
Gurney intercepts him, hauling his duke's son into his arms. "Whoa there, young sir! Just what do you think you're doing out of bed?"
"I woke up," Paul tells him.

Paul has a nightmare and goes to see Gurney.

Summary
A collection for posting whatever random drawings and art I've made for my series 'The Interplay of Politics.' Am I also working on writing the rest of the series? Yes, of course. But I also get sidetracked.
1/31/25 For those following this series, keep an eye out! Good news: I'm over 34,000 words deep into the next installment 'Fortune Passes Everywhere'. Bad news: it's not done yet and may be a bit. If trends continue I'm going to guess this will be about as long or longer than 'Attitude of the Knife'. But Shai-Halud willing I will have enough discipline to actually FINISH it before posting. You know, so there can be a regular posting schedule instead of a frantic cycle of 'aaaaahhhh' and 'did the writer collapse of a coronary somewhere?' Anyway, in the meantime have a thing and keep on folding space like the freaky Guild Navigators we are.

Summary
Chani doesn't believe in the Lisan al-Gaib, but that doesn't mean she has no faith.
Raised in the old Fremen religion, Chani was taught to distrust foreigners and their lies. Growing up in the Old Temple, she becomes a prophetess of the Ancient One, rebuking the Fremen for allowing themselves to be corrupted and misled by the outsiders. Many want to kill her for what they see as heresy, while others will follow her to the ends of the earth.
However, it all becomes far more complicated when the Ancient One directs Chani to find Muad'Dib, the foreigner whom so many call Lisan al-Gaib. He could become the Fremen's ruin, but he could also become their salvation. Chani is the only one who might guide him on the right path.
