Summary
Things go wrong for Vash and Wolfwood, as they often do. Only this time things go really, really wrong. Wrong enough that Vash doesn't even remember losing control, and now he's staring down at a pair of disemboweled men on death's door.
Things go wrong, and Wolfwood cleans it up, as he often does. But who will clean up after Wolfwood?

“How do two grown men not have eight hundred double dollars between them?!”
“Wha—” Vash was averting Meryl’s eyes, which was frankly ridiculous considering he had sought her out for help in the first place, “Meryl! The economy is in shambles!”
The economy was decidedly not in shambles.

Summary
“So…” He starts, unreasonably curious. “Are you, like, a fertility Plant, or—”
“Oh my god, shut up.” Vash groans. “I’m not telling you anything else. I just—things are different for me. Here. I don’t even know. I’m like,” he presses his forehead into Nicholas, “going insane.”
Nicholas rubs his hand down Vash’s back. “Can I help somehow?”
“You can die.”
After stumbling upon a geo plant, Nicholas learns several things about Vash in quick succession. Namely, the reason for that sweet, floral scent that drives him crazy.

Summary
As for Vash… she could appreciate him not as a mystery that needed to be unraveled, but as a complicated man with a fascinating number of quirks that made life that much more interesting. As a friend, maybe.
Which didn’t mean she’d stopped keeping notes on all his weirdness (some habits were hard to kick) but she started writing observations for the other two as well, which meant it was a totally fair and not at all obsessive thing to do.Bookmarked by Irismatic
