“Hi, what seems to be the problem?” Hyunjin asked, keeping his tone bright and steady as his eyes moved from the man’s tears to the hostess beside him. Before Haewon could answer, the man was spilling out another round of apologies.
“It’s my fault, I know it is!” he wiped at his eyes and Hyunjin now stood close enough to see the flush of pink cheeks under a mesmerizing scatter of freckles and a tremble in his heart-shaped mouth. The man was beautiful. Very upset, but very beautiful. “God, I’m so sorry, I know crying isn’t going to change anything!”
“He’s the one who confirmed the final details for the rehearsal dinner tomorrow night,” Haewon explained. “His brother’s wedding. His numbers were off.”
“His numbers were off?” Hyunjin knew all about the Lee family reservation that had been on the books for several months already, longer than he had even been working at The View. “How far off were the numbers?”
“He was fifteen off,” said Haewon in a quiet voice and Hyunjin looked up just in time to see the man cover his face with his hands to try to stop the sound of sobbing from reaching them.Bookmarked by Isa1031

Summary
Hyunjin was never one to draw people, even though he knows how to. He learned, he did anatomical studies, but it was never his thing. He’d always favoured flowers and landscapes. But that boy? Hyunjin doesn’t want to draw him. He needs to. He feels it in his soul, his hands are aching for it. Something deep inside him weeps at the thought of the sketchpad and bullpen in his bedroom. That’s so unworthy of the beauty he’s beholding right now. The man in front of him deserves silk panels and gold paint and crushed jewels and the kind of brushes he could only dream to afford, back when he was saving up for quality painting supplies. Said man is smiling at Hyunjin, and that smile knocks his breath out of his lungs and makes him feel weak in his knees.
Say something, you idiot. Talk!
“You —“ He stammers. “You’re the fairy.”
Nice. Very smooth, Hyunjin. What happened to “nice to meet you”?
The smile broadens. The mouth seems a little too large for his face, but every remarkable beauty possesses some strangeness in its proportions, and it’s never been truer.
