Summary
They’d promised each other, sworn blind that they wouldn’t let him get a rise out of them. That they weren’t going to snap and give Gerrard and his ugly ass presence what he wanted.
Despite that promise, the following shift they all had after Buck being wrung out, it happened.
“What in the hell is that?” Gerrard’s arms were folded, eyes narrowed, looking to all the world a villain from an 1800s children’s novel.
Eddie, who Buck had never seen quite so obviously looking to start something, turned on his heel from the coffee machine, the shadow of a smirk written across his face.
“What’s what?” Eddie asked coolly, as if he didn’t have a caterpillar crawling along his upper lip to match Gerrard’s.
OR - Eddie is a little unhinged since Christopher left. When Buck gets yelled at for having facial hair, Eddie makes a spectacle out of his own.

Summary
“Bless your heart, you really are new to this. Good for y’all, though. I’m glad this ship is… accepting.”
Eddie straightens in his seat. “What does that mean?”
All four wince as a young man taps the microphone onstage.
“Testing, testing,” he jokes. “Welcome to the Cruisin’ Couples Trivia Tournament!”
The patrons around them cheer. Eddie digs his nails into Buck’s skin harsh enough to make him wince.
“Oh,” he breathes. “This is for couples.”
or: After getting dumped, Buck is left with two tickets to a weeklong cruise. Eddie steps in to support a friend in need, but complications arise when his friend becomes his fake husband. All's fair in love, war, and trivia.

Summary
He's scrolling back up & is about to close the camera roll when his eyes catch onto something. It's a simple photo, turned sepia by an editing app he'd been experimenting with at the time. It's of Eddie, sitting in the cab, giving Buck his best unimpressed look. But, the corner of his mouth was upturned & his eyes sparkled, betraying the fact he was enjoying himself. There's 4 more similar photos right after."
Or, Buck is cleaning out his camera roll after his breakup with Tommy & discovers something about himself.

Summary
The thing Frank said in their first session that kind of stuck was that it’s okay if Shannon wasn’t the love of his life. It’s okay that he loved her, but he might love somebody else more in the future. Moving on is proof of growing.
So, that’s what Eddie has been doing. Moving on.
But then, that meant Eddie had to abandon the belief he should be finding Christopher a mother, and start thinking about what he wanted.
Which opened a whole new can of worms.

On Buck's birthday, things start to look up. It's all uphill from there.
