Summary
Dean Winchester has been leasing out his extra cabin up by Moose Head Lake in Maine for many years now. He has grown accustom to the rhythm and predictability of life in the quiet forests of Northern Maine. Something always felt missing though, and heart ache from lost love had pushed Dean to lock himself away. When he suddenly meets the blue eyed writer who is the first tenant of the season, things in Dean's life get turned upside down, and maybe he is willing to take a chance again, even if it might mean getting hurt.

Summary
Dean woke up that morning with one single mission in his head: pancakes.
Golden, fluffy, dripping with syrup, stacked high enough to count as an architectural achievement. He stumbled into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, and reached for his trusty frying pan.
Which immediately broke off in his hand.
If only he could have predicted that the innocent idea of frying pancakes would entail with a person hogtied in the trunk of his car.
But why? Why him of all people?
Worst morning ever. Worst morning ever and right on his day off. Life was a bitch.
Based on the reverse trope where the MC kidnaps the mafia boss. But make it an accident.

Summary
Dean Winchester loved his job as a paramedic and firefighter more than anything. He felt in his bones that this was what he was meant to do. His crew was wonderful, for the most part, and firehouse life was set up perfectly for him. Aside from being decently afraid of fire, very few things complicated his job.
That was, until, a new ER doctor, Dr. Castiel Novak, M.D showed up.
Or, Dean Winchester doesn't do well with being corrected.

Summary
As a phlebotomist with the Red Cross, Castiel has donors, not patients, and given donation protocols spacing appointments out, it typically takes a year to call someone a regular. Castiel bonds with his coworkers instead, and he stays over with his best friend and godson almost as often as he goes home. There's little exciting in the day-to-day, but routine is no hardship.
A new part of that routine comes in the form of a talkative if nervous man named Dean, whose pulse races every time Castiel takes it. Dean often flushes and looks uncomfortable, although he covers it up with jokes, teasing, and a ready smile. It makes his consistent, fortnightly platelet donations all the more admirable, but for some reason, Dean only looks even more nervous whenever Castiel brings that up.

Summary
Dean Winchester is having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. You wouldn't think nearly getting run over by the world's fugliest car and spilling his coffee would improve things, but the universe works in mysterious ways.
