Summary
At the end of Season 3, Sookie Stackhouse does what she should’ve done a long damn time ago: she kicks Bill Compton out of her house, out of her bed, and out of her life.
Then, just to salt the wound, she invites Eric Northman over and fucks him in the doorway while Bill watches from the yard. Blood is shared. A bond snaps into place. It’s not just revenge; it’s a problem.
Panicking at how exposed she suddenly is to two vampires and an entire bloody world, Sookie does the one thing nobody expects: she runs. Claudine offers a way out and Sookie takes it, stepping into Faery and vanishing from Louisiana for what feels like a year… and what turns out to be six.
Lots of sex and smut, lots of swearing, Eric being a controlling bastard in bed in the best way, Bill being a controlling bastard in literally every other way, graphic violence, blood, gore, and Sookie Stackhouse finally leaning into being the scariest thing in the room.
Death is not the end. It’s just the midpoint.
