That was probably one of Dean's favorite words. It was only practical John left Baby behind, so Dean could get Sam to school, or go out on hunts alone, or run away if shit goes sideways. It was only practical Dean's hair be shorter than Sam's, ponytails were nothing but a liability. It's only practical Dean wears all of John's old ratty clothes, why spend money on unnecessary girly shit when John's work just fine?
Practicality was the safest excuse that he had.
