Laying on his death bed, in the last homely home of the elves, the Valar visit Bilbo. Something went wrong, Frodo and Sam failed their task. Bilbo has been charged with going back, back to the very beginning. He is being sent back to his twenty fifth year of age.

Bilbo: dies, time-travels, becomes Mandos’ favorite, pranks half of Rivendell, turns pirate, saves the Nazgûl, and learns combat from Glorfindel.
Gandalf: “What do you mean Belladonna isn’t dead?”
Thorin: “Why is our hobbit terrifying and why is that attractive?”

Summary
There are several things that the dwarves don't know about the hobbit that is traveling with them. Things that Bilbo is glad to let them find out for themselves along the way.
The first is that he's prepared for anything. His mother used to quiz him about what he'd do in any situation - from relatives to trolls - and Bilbo never disappointed her with his answers. Riding a pony all day gives him plenty of time to plan for everything.
The second is that he can throw a stone or any other small object hard enough to embed it several inches into a tree trunk. His accuracy is uncanny even by Shire standards. He's quite proud of it.
The third is that he doesn't actually say so many proverbs when at home but it seems to annoy the dwarves so he spends time thinking up all the ones he's heard before.
And last, hobbits scold like it is no one's business. The Dwarves he's traveling with really have no idea what will happen if they truly piss him off.

Summary
Bilbo is asked to leave the safety of the Shire to marry Thorin Oakenshield to create an alliance between the Shire and Erebor. As a bunny, he is beyond nervous to live with a mountain full of wolves, especially one with a lineage affected by gold. And Thorin is not too thrilled to be married to a bunny, but he won't complain about his luscious curves or his enticing scent. Hopefully they'll find their way to each other and help each other change for the better.

Summary
Saruman has unleashed a curse on Middle-earth. A curse that causes all bitten to become abominations, the undead or zombies, as the men call them. Dwarves and other races alike have barricaded themselves into their homes, creating fortified strongholds to keep themselves safe.
All apart from Thorin and his Company, who have left Dis in charge of Erebor as they go on a fool’s errand to see if their hobbit is even still alive, and if he is, can Thorin convince Bilbo to leave the Shire, whatever is left of it, and return to safety and Erebor with him?
