Remus had been home from Hogwarts for two weeks when a large tropical bird rapped on his window. It was nearly midnight, and he was sitting in his armchair in the corner, staring at the wall and replaying the events of the last thirteen years of his life.
He knew, as soon as he heard the tapping against the glass, what he would find. Or rather, he knew what he hoped he’d find. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t been waiting for it. Rising, he opened the window to allow the bright orange and turquoise bird to fly inside.

Jean regrets asking almost the moment he does, not really wanting Kevin to stop. He’s wanted Kevin for years, and the soft touch of him is almost enough to kill Jean.
Kevin just shrugs, though. He leans a little closer conspiratorially, lips tickling Jean’s ear in French, “We’re good at keeping secrets.”
Jean curses under his breath with a rapid nod.
“Just watch Jeremy,” Kevin says, his breath a little shaky. Through Jean’s shorts, the tip of Kevin’s finger finds a vein. He presses down on that with a little more interest, following it up the length as Jean curls his hands in the sheets. “Just focus on the game.”
Kevin and Jean share a mutual admiration for Jeremy Knox. Then they share Jeremy.

“I had wondered—” Erwin coughs again, and is cowed into lowering his gaze when the Captain looks at him. He has the most scrutinising of stares. Erwin isn’t sure if he can see out of his left eye, but in that moment, it could well be penetrating his heart. “Ah, that is. In your letter, you didn’t mention much. Of what you expected from me during this session.”
The Captain takes so long to answer, that Erwin begins to think he does not feel inclined to say anything at all. He finishes his tea, and returns his cup to the tray. “What does your job usually entail?”
“Usually? Well, I might accompany a client to an event, or have dinner with them, or simply keep them company.”
“Do you have sex with them?”
“Yes.” Erwin swallows.
