“Unprovoked? That doesn’t make sense. Din wouldn’t do that.” Bo-Katan’s eyes darted up to the ceiling, the wheels turning in her mind as she spoke to Koska and Axe in the small conference room. None of it added up. According to eyewitness accounts, Din Djarin had attacked the two Mandalorians who guarded the palace entrance, leaving at least one of them in critical condition. He might have killed him if not for Axe’s intervention. But Axe had nearly paid for it with his own life.
There had to be a reason.
“Something wasn’t right about him,” Axe offered, one arm cradling his badly bruised stomach.
“What do you mean?”
“It was impossible to get the upper hand. It was like he was in a killing frenzy. I don’t know how else to explain it.”
