Landing on Earth was mistake #1. Getting kidnapped was mistake #2. Trying to "heal" a mafia boss with a face-full of magical mulch? That was just Tuesday.
Wu Suowei is a genius witch, at least, that’s what his diploma says. But when he accidentally teleports to the middle of Beijing instead of the Witch Lands and loses his Moon Token, he’s stuck on Earth for 5 yrs. He’s supposed to find his Guide, stay under the radar, and avoid humans. He fails all 3 within the an hr.
Mistaken for a doctor and kidnapped by the underworld, Suowei finds himself face to face with Chi Cheng, a cold blooded mafia boss with a gunshot wound and a very short fuse. Suowei’s solution? Ignore the leg, slap some "healing" sludge on the man’s stomach, and when he gets too loud, knock him out with an herbal face mask. Suowei is convinced he’s found a very grumpy, well dressed servant who provides excellent snacks.
Meanwhile, Guo Chengyu, the official Witch Guide, is on a desperate hunt for the missing student. When he tracks the magical residue to a local clinic, he finds Jiang XiaoShuai, a sharp tongued, introverted doctor.
