Summary
Ilya knew he had fucked up the moment he'd said it. But he hadn't been able to help it.
He had known earlier that day when he had double checked his refrigerator to make sure the Canada Dry ginger ale he had bought the day before hadn't sprouted wings and flown away. And he had known when he had researched easy recipes of things he could make that fit Hollander's strict performance diet earlier that week that they were playing a dangerous game.
The two of them were Rozanov and Hollander, and that was all they could ever be. Ilya knew that. They were Hollander and Rozanov to the public, to the media, to their teammates, to their coaches, and they were supposed to be that to each other as well.
But Ilya had called him Shane. And then Shane had left.

Summary
It was the second meeting between the Centaurs and the Voyagers since it all went down. Since the accidental video, the wedding, the trade. Everything. Their last game, at home in Ottawa, had been unremarkable. Cold and awkward for the most part, but nothing noteworthy. Tonight had been the same so far.

One shot on goal was blocked and the follow-up smothered. Play came to a halt and, as the skaters turned to reset, the crowd fell silent. Ilya was still down. The hit was a bit awkward, but still so normal, so routine, that no one expected an injury. Even Shane hadn’t felt the need to watch his husband and make sure he was okay.

Takes place first season that Shane and Ilya are on the Centaurs together. Ilya is injured in a game against the Voyagers, and the pair navigates another injury in the spotlight, but without having to hide.

Summary
For Shane Hollander, life has always been about playing a part. On the ice, he plays the best (or second best, depending on who you ask) hockey player in a generation. Shane goes to Tampa. The next morning, Troy Barrett receives a text from Ilya:
“Bringing boyfriend to breakfast. Tell team to be not weird.”
The Centaurs are, unsurprisingly, weird about it but become the best support system they could ask for as Shane and Ilya navigate the choice to fully begin their lives together and love each other out loud.
