Summary
Legend raised a hand in greeting and said over the music, “yeah, yeah. Surprise. We’re here to talk to you. Something important, and I know it’ll kill you, but I can’t dance until I tell you.”
“Can’t dance?” Din did not walk but rather twirled around the crowd to Legend’s side, grabbing his hand with her own, and even her eyes seemed to dance, with a mirth like they were sharing an inside joke Twilight couldn’t understand. “You know there’s no such thing. Speaking is a dance in itself, if you have the time to perfect it.”
“Would it kill you to wait?” Legend asked wryly.
“Absolutely!” Din replied, and then she pulled his arm and spun him into the fray of dancers, faster than Twilight could blink.

In Holodrum, the Chain works together to solve the mystery of the missing portals. As expected, they run into about seven brands of trouble before it all goes downhill.

“Unhelpful?” Legend tossed wryly over his shoulder.
There were no agreements at his statement, but there was also a significant lack of disagreements.

At the end of their time in Legend’s Hyrule, the Chain runs into a pretty big issue. Running out of other options, they decide to seek out Fable’s help.
Twilight does not manage to avoid a mini crisis on the way there, but what else is new?

He pointed at the corner, where the boxes that had been spilled over in Sheerow’s attack lay. One box had cracked open, revealing several small bottles full of different colors.
“Ah.” Ravio winced as Legend shot him a look full of a past debate’s anger. “Those are art supplies.”

After a badly timed early morning portal, the Chain finds responsibility calling them once again. Instead of answering that call, however, they answer a different one:

But surely it wouldn’t take too long to follow, right? Hyrule had said it wasn’t going too well in there. He would be quick, and he couldn’t exactly afford to lose whatever trail he was on.
Sending a silent apology to Time, he left the fence and ran after.

The Chain goes to Hyrule Town to do some investigating. Left to his own devices, Twilight takes it as an opportunity to do some searching of his own.

They can’t be far. He tried to think louder than his thoughts, dragging one aching paw in front of the other, feeling the mud squelch between the pads of his paws, feeling the bones in his body pleading with him to stop. If I just keep walking, they can’t be far.
There were trees all around him. They swayed in the stormy wind, their trunks screaming with the strain of staying up, their roots curled desperately in the soil, giving it their all not to break. He dragged one paw over the other. One step, and then the next step, and then the next step, and then the next step, and—
And then he tripped.

Injured and separated from the Chain, Twilight tries to follow the next best course of action.
If only he wasn’t so hopelessly lost.
