Something went terribly wrong.
The Culling Games were a smooth-running ritual designed to optimise cursed energy across Japan through a process of competitive elimination, an impeccable masterwork of barrier techniques, conditions, and vows meant to operate without any possible outside interference. However, on November 12th, something broke the carefully crafted laws upon laws of the Game, tearing through instructions and possibilities to bring in something new.
Multiple somethings.
On the 12th of November 2018, the balance of the world shifted for the first time since the birth of Satoru Gojo.
And it would never recover.

Summary
A chaotic explosion of unknown magic sends Harry to a foreign and unrecognisable toxic wasteland. He has his wand, Hermione's beaded pouch, a ruined city to take shelter in, but no way home.
Once settled and fearing for his sanity in this isolated place, he decides to take one of the many dead dragon eggs laying about to keep him company. It turns out the egg isn't as dead as he thought, though.
It's safe to say that Corlys Velaryon was not expecting to be bringing a wizard of unimaginable power and a thunder of dragons back home with him when he sent off on his ninth and final voyage.

Summary
Theo wakes up with no name, no past, and no explanation for why he knows things he shouldn't. Before he can figure out any of it something comes through the tear in the sky above him and it isn't friendly.
Taken in by a gym leader with no obligation to help him, Theo finds shelter while Kanto quietly becomes the latest region to feel the spread of the wormhole crisis. He keeps his fear where nobody can see it, says less than he knows, and slowly builds something real with a damaged Electrike that has its own reasons to be wary of the world. It isn't a journey he chose. But it's the one he has.
The problem is that whatever came through the wormhole with him didn't stay behind. The attacks keep coming, each worse than the last, and every time a wormhole opens it opens above him. Theo is being hunted and the people around him are only beginning to understand why.
He has no memories worth keeping, no home to go back to, and no guarantee that getting stronger will be enough. What he has is an Electrike that chose him in a storm and a world that hasn't given up on him yet.
That might have to be enough.

Eddie realizes in stages: the man’s slings look professional even if they’re made out of cast-off fabric from God knows where. The boy is wearing a striped shirt. The man’s leg is stiff, like Buck always denies his still gets sometimes and his brain gets caught on the word Buck, plays it over and over, and if he thinks the word and after that name he’s going to have to fall to his knees and never get up again.
Buck doesn't lose Chris in the tsunami, but as a result, he injures both of his arms. Eddie brings him home, and discovers that he wants him to stay.
