He hasn’t heard another knock and as much as he wants to believe they’re gone, he can still smell them. Fresh and ripe and ready for Diluc to- Oh, no. His thoughts are already out of his control. He’s beginning to slowly slip away and as if the universe is trying to punish him, he hears the door of the manor creak open.
“Hello?” Echo the halls as a sweet voice calls out to him. He holds his breath, trying to stay hidden so the intruder doesn’t hear him, but feels that offensively mouthwatering aroma rest on his tongue. He knows it won't take long for his sanity to slip away.

“New roomie, how great.” The man spoke with deep sarcasm, voice rough as if unused. “Haven’t had one in a while.” He stood up, easily towering over George. He was built, definitely very strong, but didn’t look too bulky. His face was as serious as was his voice and posture. If this guy decided to rock his shit, George knew he was screwed.
He greatly hesitated before asking, but then decided it’s in his best interest to get to know his new cellmate. “W-why, what happened to the last one?” He tried his best to sound casual and absolutely not frightened to death, but his voice came out a little choked up.
“Well, let’s just say we had our disagreements.” Oh.
“Wait, they let you change cellmates?”
“Why, you trynna run off already?” He felt his heart drop, even after realizing this was probably this guy’s idea of a joke. George wasn’t sure if he should laugh it off or remain quiet. “‘Course they don’t. What do you think this is, summer camp?”

Between the constantly noisy house and the school courtyard at lunch time, George for some reason chose to write his message sat hunched over on one of the school benches, while his classmates played and ran around him. And he’d soon come to regret this decision, seeing as there was a ball flying right at him, hitting him straight in the face, making him loose his grip on the inkwell in his right hand. That earned him a brand new stain right in the middle of the right leg of his trousers.
Now, George usually wasn’t one for dramatics, but seeing as it was his only presentable pair of slacks that just got ruined, he let out quite the screech.****
