Summary
What do you do when your mentor/friend stole some very important memories from you (over the course of thirty years), abandoned you for ten years, then showed up as though nothing happened and gave them back because 'it's the right thing to do'? What do you do when, in those memories, it was revealed that said friend starves herself, refuses to sleep, is isolated and trapped by her father (who has also hurt you) and, oh, her abandoning you was much more complicated that you thought.
Invite her to dinner. Obviously.
That's what Odysseus does, anyway. Whether that's a good decision or not... well, at least he has Penelope and Telemachus as backup. (Despite the summary, this is written entirely from Athena's POV.)

By the time he realised how much he needed his human’s support, it was too late. He’d done the unthinkable and their bond was ruined forever. Unless—unless maybe Hiccup could forgive him?

Summary
Athena's been hurt, much more thoroughly than she realized was possible. For the first time in her immortal life, she is fighting against her own body and mind, and she doesn't know how to win.
Odysseus is home. After two more weeks on sea, a fight with 108 suitors and reunited with his family, he’s quietly accepted that even a desperate prayer won’t bring his former mentor to come back. Little does he know, for two weeks, it’s all Athena’s been trying to do.
Or, what if after God Games, Athena doesn’t wake up in the infirmary? What if it’s up to a few mortals to take care of the goddess that just collapsed in their palace, looking like she should very much be dead?

Summary
Telemachus was expecting to feel euphoric. Wasn’t this what he wanted? Didn’t he want for the suitors to be gone, for his father to be back, for his family to be together at last? Didn’t he want to prove himself, fight battles, become a warrior?
He did. At least, he thought he did.
But this is…different. He doesn’t feel happy, or proud, or even relieved—well, maybe there’s some of that, but there’s anger and regret and grief mixed in there too, and it’s all dulled, like everything he’s feeling has been enveloped by fog.
(or: after the battle with the suitors, Odysseus, Athena, and Telemachus are all working to process what happened, and all starting to see each other—and themselves—in a different light.)
