Summary
Everything is back to normal, at least it seems so.
Juliette has carried the weight over the course of months, accomplishing many no one would think any mundane teen could ever do.
Amidst that, relationship issues brews, Emmaline’s death has left a rotting scar, and Juliette grieves of the death of the only familial connection she’d ever had left.
Focusing more on a silly and satire relationship of Aaron and Kenji.
It won’t be too heavy with trauma or anything too bothersome.
I hope.Bookmarked by Kano606

Summary
“How unfortunate for you to have someone that cares about your wellbeing.”
Kaveh laughed. “Is that what it is now? I wasn’t just disturbing your sleep?”
“Believe what you like.” It was both. Unfortunately for Alhaitham, he did care about Kaveh’s wellbeing, which is why he chose to do things like this. But it seemed no matter how often Alhaitham explicitly stated this, Kaveh would brush it off. It was a dance they had done for years, and Alhaitham didn’t make any more effort to make Kaveh understand he was serious. Kaveh wouldn’t believe him, or he would choose not to. It wouldn’t change anything if Kaveh believed it. Alhaitham would still be going through the motions of getting him to sleep in his bed on nights like this. They would still be having the same arguments. This was just another thing that had become a fact for Alhaitham about his life. Alhaitham cared about Kaveh. He would continue to care about him and for him, and Kaveh would continue to dismiss it. This was a fact that Alhaitham had learned to accept, ignoring the annoying twinge of pain that came with it.

Summary
"You know damn well you fucked me, Rafayel," Sylus growled, his voice low and dangerous. "We made a deal." Rafayel felt the room closing in around him as the words sank like lead into his chest. His mouth went dry, but he kept his gaze locked on Sylus, refusing to show the fear gnawing at him from within. For a brief moment, Rafayel saw something else in Sylus’s eyes, a flicker of something raw, almost pained, beneath the anger. But just as quickly as it appeared, it was gone, replaced by the cold, unyielding mask of control. Sylus leaned forward, the broken glass cutting into his palm. He didn’t flinch. “It’s time to pay your debt.”

Summary
“You’re a high-risk asset. I’ve always had a weakness for dangerous bets.”
The bond is severed. The sea is drying out. And a quiet monster is waiting in the shadows to collect the ruins.
Two beings, left behind by the same light, forced to share the dark. It doesn't happen all at once. But somewhere between the nightmares and the silence, the transaction shifts.
A story about art, endurance, and the sound of a heart beating (Tibok) for someone new.
Tibok: the feeling of falling before knowing you're falling. The space between silence and noticing. That soft ache of realising someone has started to mean something.
A fic based on/ inspired by the Filipino song 'Tibok' by Earl Agustin.
