Only a few moments ago, Guanyin temple had been collapsing around him, rubble falling at his feet. Sizhui had frozen in the midst of it all, completely unmoored. He did nothing still when Senior Wei pressed close and smiled at him, blood dripping from the corners of his lips. It was a gory smile, all red teeth, and so obviously forced. “It’s okay, Sizhui,” he’d said. “You’ll be okay.”
And then a talisman was slammed into his diaphragm.

Summary
La espiral de sus pensamientos lo agotó aún más. El fuego de la determinación se había apagado dentro de él y Jiang Wanyin no tenía motivos para seguir luchando. Mientras se acostaba en su cama, soñaba con la vida sin todos estos sentimientos por los que había luchado toda su vida. Quería alejarse de sí mismo y de lo agotadora que era su vida. Pero sabía que no podía hacer eso si seguía rodeándose de personas y lugares que le recordaban esos sentimientos.
Aquí, en Lotus Pier, los recuerdos de su insuficiencia de tantas maneras lo asfixiaron lenta y constantemente durante toda su vida. Toda su vida se había estado ahogando. Con el tiempo, sabía que dejaría de luchar por mantenerse a flote y dejaría que el agua lo tragara.
Este lugar lo iba a matar.

Summary
AU: Lan Zhan meets Mo XuanYu years after Wei WuXian's death and starts spending his time with him. Eventually, he falls in love and marries Mo XuanYu. Their happy lives don't last for long because Wei WuXian is brought back and reunites with Lan Zhan once again. Despite everything, Lan Zhan still loves Wei Ying. This love can, however, damage the relationship he has with Mo XuanYu. Unknowingly to Lan Zhan, Mo XuanYu would do anything for the man he loves, even if it means letting him go.
