He’s slowly getting used to it, when he spends the night in Vlad Masters haunted manor, and learns that ghosts aren’t the only beings capable of using their powers for harm.

It clears your hearing. Fear, for some reason, leaves when you exhale. You breathe deep in, again, and a full sense of calmness fills the space of the fear you breathe out.
The blood hadn’t covered your eye, it was coming out of it. Stupid Siffrin didn’t pay attention to the fight and lost another eye.
Or; Siffrin loses his eye in the loops. How hard can it be to get his party to guide them to a tear?

“You’re at the food bank? How much do I pay you?”
She gives another little huff. “Charity, Tony. Did any of the actually important things I just said register in your brain?”
“Oh, all right. Consider it my charity work for today.”
