“I agree with hyung,” Jungkook says sliding into the bench next to Jimin and kissing him before continuing. “Joon hyung and Hobi hyung wouldn’t be friends with him if he was bad. He’s just introverted like me and didn’t start dating a social butterfly at 15,” he tells his boyfriend pointedly.

I'm not sure I have the words to accurately describe this fic. I began reading this fic on the plane on my way to law school. I was moving away from everything I've ever known to do something that I knew was going to be challenging and all the way through that first semester this fic was my safety blanket. It kept me sane and I can't ever put into words what that meant to me. This fic Is like a warm hug of hope even when it makes you sad it reminds you of the humanity and love some people have and that's amazing..

For someone he'd hero-worshipped for so long, Steve Rogers in the flesh is a pretty big disappointment. For one thing, he keeps looking at Tony as though he reminds him of someone else, and even if he never says anything, Tony's pretty sure it's his father. A lifetime of not measuring up to Howard's expectations is more than enough, thank you very much, and he's certainly not going to make an effort to live up to any of Steve's. Steve's pretty clearly failed to live up to his expectations, in any case, and that's not hypocritical at all.

I really enjoyed this fic. It is heavy on the angst and def earns the trigger warnings but the happy ending makes most of the suffering worth it.
