He stared for another moment before turning away once again. Zanka almost reached out before stopping, having nothing to say. What would he even say? He began to walk away before pausing and glancing behind him, "You can stay in that well if you choose to. Or you can come with me."
Those were the only words spoken before the grey haired man continued to walk away. Zanka stared at his back, confused yet intrigued. He glanced down at the well before glancing to his left. He could go back to Hell Guard, force himself to be something he wasn't. He could stay in that well, doing nothing to better himself. Or.. Or he could go with him.
...
Zanka doesn't hear the encouraging words of Enjin that day. Doesn't know of the warmth of the Cleaners, the people of Team Akuta. Instead he meets someone else and finds himself with a new mindset.

Zanka is a sadist. He admits it begrudgingly. He hates it. But what he hates even more… is the question looping around his skull: Would this have existed without Jabber? Or did Jabber shape him just enough for it to finally break the surface?
