He stared for another moment before turning away once again. Zanka almost reached out before stopping, having nothing to say. What would he even say? He began to walk away before pausing and glancing behind him, "You can stay in that well if you choose to. Or you can come with me."
Those were the only words spoken before the grey haired man continued to walk away. Zanka stared at his back, confused yet intrigued. He glanced down at the well before glancing to his left. He could go back to Hell Guard, force himself to be something he wasn't. He could stay in that well, doing nothing to better himself. Or.. Or he could go with him.
...
Zanka doesn't hear the encouraging words of Enjin that day. Doesn't know of the warmth of the Cleaners, the people of Team Akuta. Instead he meets someone else and finds himself with a new mindset.

Zanka clutches his jacket and yanks it open, pulling it down so Jabber’s chest is exposed to him. “Y’don’t get to forget me that quickly,” he says, “Y’don’t get to throw me aside when I haven’t proven myself yet.”
Jabber opens his mouth, and Zanka stabs the tip of the blade into his skin.
Jabber’s lost interest in Zanka after he fails to live up to his expectations. Zanka refuses to be forgotten, and leaves his mark in a way Jabber can never erase

Arkha’s gaze lifted up from where he was mindlessly staring at his desk, just in time to see the one person he was thinking about, not even a second ago, sliding into his office. Tamsy’s hair was already falling down from where it was tied into a half up and half down style, shining slightly in the light. It was almost like a ritual now for him to let it loose whenever he wanted to pay Arkha a visit (not like he minded, though)."
